Title
LEGAL MECHANISM TO GUARANTEE THE RIGHT TO HEALTH CARE OF PRISONERS
Abstract
Prison overcrowding leads to increased stress, chaos, violence, infectious diseases and serious health problems, self-harm and suicide in prison, as well as challenges in managing prisoners. In addition, inadequate resources and lack of living space also directly affect rehabilitation education, as well as the ability to access the outside world to serve community reintegration. With the trend of international integration and building a rule of law state, the author has researched and analyzed the legal mechanism to ensure the right to health care of prisoners in Vietnam today, compared with international law, and evaluated the practice of law implementation to make recommendations to help improve Vietnamese law.
