Daniel Brand is active in the fields of maritime and transportation law, insurance law and dispute resolution. He has extensive experience in particular in charterparty and bill of lading disputes, cargo claims, collision-related damage to property, oil spills and other pollution at sea. Daniel has contributed with extensive research for the latest edition of Professor Hugo Tiberg's book, The Law of Demurrage, and he regularly appears as a lecturer in maritime and transportation law courses. He has a law degree from Uppsala University and a master's degree in maritime law from the University of Southampton.
