Michael SEVEL Michael Sevel is a Lecturer in Jurisprudence and an Associate of the Sydney Centre for International Law. He was previously Visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Miami School of Law, where he taught jurisprudence, torts, and admiralty law, and Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Law of the European University Institute. He researches issues in general jurisprudence, the rule of law, and moral and political philosophy. He also has interests in issues in international law, maritime law, and torts. During his time in CML, Michael will be participating in our bi-monthly lunch seminar series and speaking at the CML Seminar Series at Maxwell Chambers on "Making Sense of the Two Faced Seaworthiness" (22 February 2018).
