CML is delighted to have three industry experts in our first lunchtime seminar of 2017.
Capt. Ajit Karande, (Senior Deputy Director of Pandisea Pte Ltd), Dr Darren Holling, (Partner and Fire Expert, Dr J H Burgoyne & Partners) and Capt. Harry Hirst (Partner & Master Mariner, Ince & Co Singapore LLP) can together to provide our students with valuable insight into their respective roles in the event of a shipboard fire.
The participants were given first-hand accounts from our experts on the complex role of the P&I club, evidence and the serious problem of misdeclared cargo in bills of lading as well as a discussion covering the contractual and tortious liabilities in event of a casualty, and steps that can be taken to properly advise and protect clients.
It was truly an engaging and useful event for our participants.
