Leon ALEXANDER Leon Alexander is an international trade partner providing advice to trading and mining companies and investment banks in relation to all aspects of the international sale, transportation and hedging of hard and soft commodities. Leon has worked for the firm since 2004 (in Singapore since 2014) and is a member of Clyde & Co's Global Trade & Commodities Executive Committee. Leon has significant experience of multi-jurisdictional dispute resolution and handles claims both in court and arbitration proceedings including FOSFA, GAFTA, ICC, LCIA, LMAA, SCMA and SIAC. Leon also helps commodities clients with non-contentious and transactional issues and advises clients on charterparties, contracts of affreightment, bills of lading, sale and purchase, term/offtake, storage, processing, blending and tolling agreements. Leon also advises on commodity hedging and paper trading contracts and structures. Leon is also a member of Clyde & Co's global Innovation Board with a keen interest in the legal implications of technological advancement in the shipping and trade industries.
