Simone LAMONT-BLACK Dr Lamont-Black is a German-educated lawyer and Senior Lecturer at the Edinburgh Law School. She writes the chapter on "Maritime Law: Carriage by Sea with General Average and Salvage" in the leading Scots Law treatise, Gloag and Henderson, The Law of Scotland 13th ed (2017), is co-editor (with Professor Rhidian Thomas) of Current Issues in Freight Forwarding: Law and Logistics (2017), and co-author (with Paul Bugden) of Goods in Transit 4th ed (2018). Dr Lamont-Black will be working on various projects during her stay in CML, where she will be presenting a workshop on issues connected with freight forwarding, contributing to our regular bi-monthly seminar series, and carrying out her own research on EU sea passenger rights and Singapore law. |
