Dr Valerio Torti Dr Valerio Torti is currently a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Centre for Law Business at the National University of Singapore's Faculty of Law. He is an Italian attorney and PhD graduate from the University of Southampton (UK). His research explores the interaction between competition law and intellectual property rights (ie, patents) in the field of standard setting. During his academic career, he spent periods of research in the United States, visiting Fordham University NY and the University of Wisconsin (USA). Before joining the National University of Singapore as Post-doctoral Fellow, Valerio also worked at the University of Southampton (UK) as part-time lecturer, and held internship positions at the European Commission and the Wisconsin Department of Justice. He has been invited to speak at conferences in the United States, United Kingdom and Germany. |
