Joseph LEE Joseph Lee is a PhD candidate at the Australian National University (ANU). His thesis is titled 'Reconceptualising the National Security Interest Regulation of Chinese Central State-owned Companies' Investment in Critical Infrastructure Assets in Australia'. Born and raised in Malaysia, Joseph is a barrister at the Australian Capital Territory Bar Association. His legal practice is based at Burley Griffin Chambers in Canberra. He is a graduate of the University of Tasmania in Australia, having completed a LLB (Hons) and Masters of Law by Research (MPhil) specialising on medical negligence. An advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya, Joseph had 8 years' experience in civil and commercial litigation in Malaysia prior to embarking on his MPhil study. This includes four years of managing his own private practice. Joseph's PhD study at ANU is funded by the Australian Government Research Training Program Scholarship. |
