Course Description:
This course covers a range of topics in jurisprudence, legal theory, and the philosophy of law. Broadly speaking, it covers topics in both ‘general jurisprudence’, such as the nature of legal systems, legal reasoning, and justice, and topics in ‘special jurisprudence’, such as criminalization and punishment and the philosophy of tort law.
