Course Description:
A detailed study of the public and private international law of copyright law focusing on legal responses to cross-border issues and conflicts among private parties and nation states. Topics to be covered include: ASEAN IP relations, connecting factors in private litigation, the major international copyright treaties, major themes in EU copyright jurisprudence, exhaustion of rights, exceptions and limitations, indigenous IP.)
