Degree Requirements for Graduate Coursework Programmes

Students in the full-time Master of Laws (LLM) programmes must complete a total number of 40-44 units in one year. The students are allowed to register for 17-23 units of courses per semester. A student would typically read 20 units in a semester.
Part-time LLM (Maritime Law) students must complete a total number of 40-44 units in two years, reading 9-13 units of course per semester.

· Graduate Diploma in Maritime Law & Arbitration Programme
Full-time and part-time students must complete a total number of 32-36 units in one year and two years respectively. The programme is specially designed such that students who complete the requirements for the Graduate Certificate in International Arbitration (GCIA) Programme will be granted 12 units toward the total units required for the Graduate Diploma.
