CML is pleased to announce the publication of Dr Wang Feng's first book, Illegality in Marine Insurance Law.
The event was marked with a book launch at Maxwell Chambers on 14 October 2016 which was attended by NUS Law alumni members, students as well as legal practitioners.
Dr Wang gave an overview of the topic, he observes the development of the illegality rules in English marine insurance law and the merits and defects of these rules. Also he explores the illegality rules in English common law and how these rules can be trans-applied on illegality cases in marine insurance law. At last, he gave a thorough suggestion on how English law on this part can be reformed in order to meet contemporary commercial law requirements.
