Welcome to our website. The Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore operates this website (the “Site”) to provide online access to information about The Singapore Journal of Legal Studies. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS OF USE CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS WEBSITE. By using this website, you agree to each of these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms of use, you may not use this website. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or delete portions of these terms of use at any time.

1. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The information contained in this Site is for general information purposes only. You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. a. Copyright.
This Site and its Content are protected by the copyright laws of the Republic of Singapore and/or foreign copyright laws. All rights, title, and interest to the Content contained in the Site belong to Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore or its partners, affiliates or contributors who have authorized the use of their work on the Site.
b. Prohibited Uses. You may not, except by our express written permission or as provided elsewhere in the Site, copy, alter, distribute or commercially exploit the Content. Nor may you transmit it or store it in any other website or other form of electronic retrieval system.

7. Linking to this Site
You may not create a link to the home page or any other parts or pages of this Site from another website or document without our prior written consent. You may not mirror or frame the home page or any other pages of this Site on any other website or webpage.

8. User-Supplied Information
The Singapore Journal of Legal Studies does not want to receive any confidential or proprietary information from you via the Site. You hereby warrant and guarantee that any material, information, or data you transmit to us via or in connection with the Site is and will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. You also warrant and guarantee that you have the legal right to transmit, post, or supply any information you transmit, post, or supply to the Site and that doing so will not violate applicable law or the rights of any individual or entity.

9. General Provisions
a. Entire Agreement.
These Terms of Use, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement of the parties with respect to the subject matter herein.
b. Severability. If any part of these Terms of Use is determined by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms of Use will remain in full force and effect.
c. Applicable Law. Your use of this Site and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to, governed by, and will be interpreted in accordance with, the laws of the Republic of Singapore, without regard to any conflict of laws provisions.

PRIVACY POLICY
Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore does not collect personally identifying information about individuals, except when specifically and knowingly provided by such individuals.

1. When you visit our website, you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and website use information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse our website.

2. You will provide us with information about yourself and your employer, including your address, telephone number, email address, and occupation, when you submit an article to us. If you correspond with us through email, we may retain the content of your email messages together with your email addresses and our response.

3. Our website utilizes a standard technology called "cookies" to provide selected features and Web server logs to collect information about how our Web site is used. This information may include the date and time of visits, the pages viewed, the page viewed just before each visit, and the public Internet Protocol (“IP”) address of the connection from which the visit is made. This information is collected on an aggregate basis. None of this information is associated with you as an individual.

4. We use the information you provide in connection with submission of an article or note to facilitate correspondence with you and to ensure integrity of submitted work. We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive.

5. Except as stated in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection, user's personally identifiable information, will not be transferred to a party outside Faculty of Law, National University of Singapore, its divisions, its vendors providing Internet hosting services or third party list managers, unless stated at the time of collection. Visitors should consult the other sites' privacy notices as we have no control over information that is submitted to, or collected by, these third parties.
