CALS is pleased to share an announcement by the Asia Pacific Centre for Environmental Law (APCEL) on the launch of APCEL Visiting Fellowship Programme. The Programme has been created to provide opportunities for environmental law researchers to come to NUS Law to conduct research and develop their ideas/proposals for tackling the pressing environmental problems we face in the Asia-Pacific region today. Prof Arif Jamal's new book, "Islam, Law and the Modern State: (Re)imagining Liberal Theory in Muslim Contexts", has been published by Routledge.
The Centre for International Law at the National University of Singapore will be hosting a conference on "Teaching and Researching International Law in Asia (TRILA)" from 21 to 22 June 2018. Interested TRILA conference participants are invited to register by 15 April 2018.
