Important Notes

1.	The credit card details given will be used as a mode of guarantee for the booking.
2.	All room charges and incidental charges will be borne by individual guest and has to be settled upon check out either by cash or credit card, unless stated otherwise.
3.	Check-in time is from 14:00hr and check-out time is at 12:00hr. For early check-in, a full day room rate will be levied. For late check-out till 18:00hr is at the applicable day use rate and check-out after 18:00hr is at full day charge, subject to room availability.

Getting to and from the Airport to Conference Hotel

Getting to and from Changi International Airport is easy, convenient, and relatively inexpensive. You have a choice of several modes of transportation.

If you are staying at the recommended hotel please make sure you indicate that you are going to the Hotel Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen as there are two other Ibis hotels in Singapore.

1. TAXI

The most convenient transportation from the Airport to the city is by taxi. If this is your first time in Singapore, this is also the most recommended mode of transport. Taxi services are convenient and reasonably priced in Singapore. On arrival, please follow the signs to the official taxi queue. The taxi journey is approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Most taxi drivers speak English. Tipping is not expected.

Taxis are metered and fares start from S$3.20, depending on the type of taxi boarded. The one-way taxi fare from the airport to the recommended conference hotels should cost S$25.00 at most. For trips originating from the airport, there is a surcharge of S$3.00-S$5.00.

2. MASS RAPID TRANSIT (MRT)

This mode of transport is recommended only if you have a light luggage. Proceed to the basement level of Changi Airport Terminal 2 or 3. If you arrived at Terminal 1, you must either take the SkyTrain or free shuttle bus for inter-terminal transfer to Terminal 2 or 3.

The nearest MRT to Hotel Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen is Bugis Station which is a 10-min walk to the hotel. The train journey is about 40 mins.

Purchase your ticket from the ticketing machine. A single trip standard ticket to Bugis Station costs S$2.30. You may like to consider purchasing an Ez-Link card if you are planning on exploring Singapore using our integrated public transport system. The stored value card, with an initial cost of S$12, can be used for both public buses (SMRT & SBS) and trains (MRT & LRT). This include a $5 non-refundable deposit.

3. AIRPORT SHUTTLE

Airport Shuttle bus service to selected downtown hotels, including the Hotel Ibis Singapore on Bencoolen, can be arranged at a flat rate of SGD $9 per passenger. On arrival, proceed to the Ground Transport Desk located at the arrival halls of each terminal to purchase your ticket. Do inform the counter staff of your hotel name to check for route information. The Ground Transport Desk is a 24-hour counter catered to handle all passengers' transportation requests and queries. Depending on shuttle bus schedules and waiting time, the journey may take more than 1.5 hours.
