LEE Jae Woon LEE Jae Woon is an international aviation law and policy expert. He teaches aviation law and airline management at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Asia as Adjunct Assistant Professor. He has been working, teaching, and researching in the field of aviation law and policy for the last 12 years. From 2006 to 2012, Dr. Lee worked at the Korean Air Legal Department. His work mainly consisted in advising on liability and regulatory issues and handling competition law cases. Since 2012, he has been a legal consultant to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea on aviation law issues. He has attended the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Legal Committee in 2012, 2013, 2015 and the Diplomatic Conference in 2014 as a legal advisor to the Korean delegation. He has published many articles in aviation law journals, including Annals of Air & Space Law (Canada), Air & Space Law (the Netherlands), Journal of Air Law and Commerce (U.S.) and Issues in Aviation Law and Policy (U.S.). His book: Regional Liberalization in International Air Transport: Towards Northeast Asian Open Skies (Eleven International Publishing, The Hague) has been published in July 2016. At CALS, he will research on the legal structure of the nationality restrictions and practical applications in India's airline industry. |
