I was fortunate to receive the President's Research Scholarship and Graduate Research Scholarship, and was awarded my PhD in 2011. The program was exciting and challenging. The modules I took were very helpful in understanding the commercial laws in Singapore and laying the foundation in assisting me to complete my doctoral thesis. I would give my sincerest gratitude to my supervisor, Prof. Tan Cheng Han SC, who had supported me throughout my thesis with his patience and knowledge. I am thankful to the faculty, staff and graduate fellows who have lent their support at various times during my time in the Faculty of Law. In a nutshell, my study and life while pursuing a PhD at NUS Law were unforgettable moments and happy memories!
