PhD Experience in NUS
The experience of researching and writing a Ph.D. thesis has many dimensions. There is the solitude of the daily researching and writing routine, the satisfaction of developing a topic that arouses your own intellectual interest, the challenge of presenting your work in a coherent and convincing manner to colleagues, and the gratification that comes with successful completion and commencement.

I was fortunate to enjoy a productive and friendly relationship with my supervisor who was supportive, yet appropriately critical. He was prompt in providing feedback and quick to suggest resources I may have overlooked. I am glad for the opportunity to work with someone so knowledgeable and dedicated.

There were also many opportunities for intellectual engagement ranging from the numerous opportunities to hear and engage with leading experts in various areas of law at the Faculty to presenting our work at several international legal conferences throughout our doctoral journey. The ATLAS Agora that allowed us to present our work to a broader legal community and to connect with colleagues engaged in research in related fields and the Faculty's Doctoral Reading Group sessions attended by other doctoral candidates and interested faculty allowed for deeper engagement and vital feedback.

In sum, I found my experience at NUS Law to be challenging, stimulating and rewarding.
