Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) is a premier statutory institution set up in the State of Punjab in India, imparting quality legal education and professional training through its: (i) Five Year Integrated Law Course (FYIC) B.A., LL.B. (Hons.); (ii) Two Year Post Graduate Course LL.M.; (iii) Research Degree Programme in Law and Social Sciences with Law - Ph.D. The University is also running Centres for Advanced Study and Research viz.; Centre for Advanced Studies in Criminal Law (CASCL); Centre for Consumer Protection Law and Advocacy (CCPLA); Centre for Advanced Studies in International Humanitarian Law (CASH); School of Agricultural Law and Economics (SALE); RGNUL Institute for Competitive Examinations (RICE); Directorate of Distance Education (DODE); and Bureau of Information for Studies Abroad (BISA). The objective of the Research Centres is to undertake advanced study and research in the emerging areas of respective fields, independently or in collaboration with professional institutions at the National and International levels; to bring about publications and produce study material organize seminars, workshops and conferences on contemporary and significant issues.

The School of Law of Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU), New Delhi has also set up a Study Centre at RGNUL, to run various short term Professional Orientation Courses in Law.
