Located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area, Texas A&M School of Law has a distinguished faculty of scholars and practitioners who are recognized experts in their fields and who are committed to training competent, ethical attorneys. We have faculty with expertise in various areas of law, including intellectual property, natural resources, alternative dispute resolution, tax, commercial law, and immigration law. As part of Texas A&M University, an internationally recognized research institution, we have expertise and interests that take us to many different parts of the world; our faculty have taught, conducted research, and built collaborations in Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Singapore, Mongolia, Argentina, Costa Rica, the Cayman Islands, Portugal, Spain, Brazil, Russia, and other countries. Faculty members have been honoured with awards and memberships in prestigious professional organizations like the American Law Institute, the College of Labour and Employment and Fulbright awards.
Texas A&M School of Law has committed teachers who provide our students with an innovative legal curriculum that combines classroom instruction with hands-on practical training. Examples of practical training include clinics, externships, and participation in moot court, mock trial and alternative dispute resolution programs. We also offer students the opportunity to develop legal expertise by taking classes in a specialized area of law: business law, dispute resolution, estate planning, family law, and intellectual property. Our location in the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area gives us and our students access to one of the U. S.’s best legal and business markets; the DFW area is home to international corporations like American Airlines, BNSF Railways, Kimberly-Clark, and Texas Instruments.
