The Department of Law, Yangon University of Distance Education was opened in 1992 and introduced undergraduate law courses. 8661 students are attending undergraduate law courses. Moreover online Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) course was introduced in 2012 and there are 45 students for 2nd semester and 78 students for 1st year and 91 students for 2nd year. There are 2 professors, 4 lecturers, 7 assistant lecturers and 4 tutors are working in the department.
