Conference Welcome Dinner

The 22nd Asian Law Institute (ASLI) Welcome Dinner will be held on Wednesday 28 May at Banquet Hall, the 7th floor of Hyatt Regency Shanghai Global Harbor. This luxurious hotel is located in the marvelous twin towers and offers a stunning view of the metropolitan skyline. Guests can enjoy a refined dining experience with a diverse range of culinary delights, featuring both local and international flavors that showcase the best of Shanghai’s vibrant food scene.

The sales of additional Welcome Dinner Conference Tickets (SGD 100 per person) are available on 28 May 2025 from 10.00AM to 2.00PM in the Secretariat Room at (venue to be updated). Please note that limited tickets are available and only payment via credit card will be accepted.

Conference participants are kindly requested to pass the ‘Welcome Dinner Ticket’ (distributed with your lanyard during registration) to our ushers at the dinner venue.

Conference participants who have purchased additional Conference Welcome Dinner tickets must also present it at the registration desk at the dinner venue.

Optional Dinner

Join us for a memorable evening on Thursday, May 29, as we host the Optional Dinner aboard the exquisite Dragon Boat Cruise Ship. This beautifully designed vessel, featuring a lifelike dragon design that embodies strength and prosperity. The dragon body encloses the four-story hull and is decorated in a traditional Chinese style. This enchanting experience offers a unique opportunity to savour an international buffet banquet, showcasing local favorites, BBQ seafood, and contemporary delicacies. While indulging in the diversifying flavors of the culinary offerings, you can also enjoy a picturesque night view of Shanghai along the Huangpu River with its glittering skyline and the iconic architecture of the Bund beautifully lit, offering a captivating display of lights and reflections.

This dinner is only for conference participants who have purchased the optional dinner tickets.
