Course Description:
The objective of this module is to enable students specializing in Intellectual Property Law to be conversant with the operation of the major international trademark treaties, and the legal and policy issues underlying topics such as the following: well known trade marks; exhaustion of right; and Geographical Indications.

Prerequisites: NUS Compulsory Core Law Curriculum or common law equivalent. Students must have taken a basic course on IP Law (e.g. Law of IP(A); Foundations of IP).
