Materials allowed to be brought into an open-book exam venue

» Any related materials can be brought into the exam hall subject to non-infringement of copyright rules as well as any special instructions from course convenors. Student must check with the course convenors of their subjects whether they prohibit the students from bringing any special materials into the exam hall.
» All law students are expected to abide by the copyright laws and regulations of Singapore at all times and there are no special exemptions for examinations.
» You may not bring audio equipment and communication devices, including but not limited to pagers, mobile phones, radios, and MP3-players, into the examination rooms.
»

Any programmable calculators, palm-top PCs, electronic organisers/digital diaries/dictionaries and notebook computers will not be allowed. Programmable calculators are basically calculators that can store formulas so that they can be recalled and used. They usually have the "Go" and "Run" buttons.
