Supervised Judicial Research

Course Description:
This course involves the completion of a short assessable research proposal followed by the submission of a 7,000-word research paper.

The course aims to provide law students with the opportunity to work with the Singapore Courts in conducing supervised research on a topic relating to the judiciary, judging or the justice system and produce a written piece of legal research in a publishable form.

Note that projects involving human subjects and requiring ethics approval might not be available.

Application info:As the class size is limited, students must undergo a selection process which includes submitting a 200 word statement outlining reasons for applying to enrol in the course. Students may also be required to attend an interview.

All participants are subject to security screening and must obtain the requisite security clearance before they can be admitted to the course.
