Conference Dinner (Tuesday, 25 May 2010)

The Welcome Dinner will be held at Seri Melayu Restaurant, Kuala Lumpur

Seri Melayu Restaurant is situated right in the heart of the city at the centre of "The Golden Triangle". Maintaining the Malay Cultural heritage, this restaurant inherits the gable roof reminiscent of both Perak and Malacca influence. The Dining Hall covers an area of 629 square metres and can accommodate 500 people comfortably. At one end of the hall is the 35 square metres stage where Malay Cultural shows are performed. To dine here is a total Malay Heritage experience in itself; an authentic Malay Cuisine is served within an ambience of Malay Décor, music and dance. The extensive dinner buffet spread includes a wide selection of spicy and mild curries, vegetable dishes, soups, meaty rendang and ulam (raw vegetables) and an assortment of sambals (chilli pastes) and sweets and cakes. Familiar dishes include satay (chicken on skewers cooked over charcoal), roti canai and laksa.

Optional Dinner (Wednesday, 26 May 2010)

The Optional Dinner will be held at Seri Angkasa Revolving Restaurant, KL Tower.

Seri Angkasa Revolving Restaurant is located at Menara Kuala Lumpur (KL Tower). Sitting at 282 metres above ground level, it is ranked the 4th highest revolving restaurant in the world and the highest in South East Asia. A revolving restaurant is a restaurant on a revolving floor plate. The building remains stationary and the diners are carried on the revolving floor. The revolving rate varies between one and three times per hour and enables the visitors of the tower restaurant to enjoy the panorama of the tower without leaving their seats. The tastefully decorated restaurant, being one of the best tourist attractions, offers spectacular ambience where one can enjoy an exquisite selection of local/international cuisine complemented by live music, inspiring the breath-taking night view of Kuala Lumpur and the world famous Twin Towers, with the panoramic sky line background of the Klang Valley.
