Conference Reception – Thursday, 10 May 2018

The Conference Dinner will be held at the Seoul National University Faculty House, located within the SNU campus. The conference dinner, a buffet serving an array of international and Korean cuisines with free-flowing alcohol and non-alcohol beverages that provides a wonderful opportunity to network with Asian law experts and scholars.

Optional Tour & Dinner – Friday, 11 May 2018

The Seoul National University School of Law will organise an optional social programme comprising a visit to the Deoksugung Palace and a dinner at THE PLAZA Seoul on Friday, 11 May 2018.

Interested participants should purchase their ticket for this optional social programme during online registration.

Located at the heart of Seoul's downtown, Deoksugung Palace is famous for its elegant stone-wall road. One of five remaining royal palaces in Seoul dating from Korea’s last kingdom, the Joseon Dynasty, it is also the only palace that sits alongside a series of western style buildings, adding uniqueness to the surrounding scenery.

The name "Deoksugung" means the "Palace of Virtue and Longevity". The Palace comprised a mixture of traditional Korean architecture and Western-style neo-classical structures, which provide visitors with a glimpse of how the late Joseon Dynasty received western culture at that time.

Dinner

After visiting the Deoksugung Palace, participants will take a 3-minute walk to the dinner venue at THE PLAZA Seoul Hotel.

The optional dinner will be held on the top level of THE PLAZA Seoul, Level 22 at the Diamond Hall.

Transportation will be provided from the Seoul National University to the optional dinner venue and back to the Shilla Stay Seocho and Hoam Faculty House.
